Dr. Sidney Kass is a well known expert in the successful treatment of varicose and spider veins. As a specialist in Phlebology, the diagnosis and treatment of vein disease, he has trained with world experts and is one of the only physicians who is devoting his career to the study, prevention and treatment of venous disorders. He is a Member of The American College of Phlebology, the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, various media have interviewed him as an expert on the topic, he has been published and he is a consultant for insurance companies. Dr. Kass is also a Board Certified Anesthesiologist, receiving his undergraduate degree from UCLA and his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at St. Lukes/Roosevelt Hospital Center and his anesthesia residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami, one of the nations largest trauma centers. He and his family settled in the Twin Cities in 1990 and was an anesthesiologist at St. Paul Ramsey Hospital, a level one trauma center. Intrigued by the field of Phlebology, he began studying venous disorders and in 2000 founded Twin Cities Vein & Laser Clinic.
